Rochak Pokharel

I am a self taught developer, with an interest in CCAI, NLP/NLU, Computer Vision, and Data Science. My greatest skill is accelerated learning, as can be demonstrated by the fact that I learned not just programming, but machine learning, deep learning, Computer Vision, Software Development, Web development (just fundamentals) in a span of 3.5- 4 months. Before April of 2022, I couldn't even write 'Hello World!' in python. Now (August 2022), I am working for Prepr, developing CCAI (Contact Center Artificial Intelligence) chatbot which uses NLU/NLP to facilitate natural conversations between the customer and the company. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Interests

Apart from being a Programmer, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. In the winter, I am an avid snowboarder and novice weight lifter. During the warmer months here in Toronto, I enjoy mountain biking, free climbing, and kayaking.

When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi and fantasy genre movies and television shows, I am an aspiring chef, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technology advancements in the data science world.
